This picture captures happiness!  Abby, a young girl is incredibly excited about being portrayed in a video game and she gets to select most of the artistic content.  Kudos to Filament Games a local video game production studio in Madison, and Make-A-Wish foundation for making this happen. Very interesting topic and discussion to take place next week.  Local panelists will discuss what Madison does well for the startup ecosystem and where we need to improve.  I've blogged in the past about the startup/entrepreneurial success in Boulder, CO where I moved from and there are some missing ingredients.  

More female mentors in tech and more direct flights to the coasts are (2) reasons why WI lags in startup activity IMHO.  I'm sorry to miss this key discussion due to vacation plans but I hope my readers can make it!
