- Only 400,000 students will graduate with the skills to fill those jobs.
- This statistic is glaringly real to me. When I recruit for a software developer 97% of the resumes that I screen are white males. I have no issue with them, but where are the women??
I'm on vacation this week and sorry I will miss this very intriguing documentary at Sundance Theatre in Madison. The Madison Chamber of Commerce is bringing this film to Madison to highlight the tech gap with women and minorities in the STEM fields. I spoke about this in my last blog post about camps trying to introduce coding to a minority/female population. Statistics that are daunting:
