I recently worked with a client who needed some interview prep for his first professional job. He was a recent ME (Mechanical Engineering) college grad with a strong resume. After experiencing some interviews but no offers he wanted to nail this opportunity at a mid-sized company in WI. He enjoyed a gap year of travel so it was important for him to explain how this experience added to his strengths and skills in a positive light.
We started the session with some basic HR oriented questions and then moved towards a more technical slant. I gave feedback and then we repeated the process while capturing a few video takes on my iPhone. The power of video is to validate what is really being presented.
